Fashion at it’s best is timeless and simple - my style - that and a few signature giants to create an interest.  In my case - time poor in the mornings to get out and into work, simplicity is key.  The dress is an absolute saviour and today it was the navy shirt, killer heals, lots of gloss and a flick to the hair.  Despite a nippy morning that was kept at bay with my fail safe “Spanish” coat which continues to attract much attention the day soon warmed up and my dress was comfortable and looked good all day.  Not bad for £10 purchase from Tesco.  Much that I hate buying clothes with apples and oranges, Tesco does feature some great pieces, low cost and when worn well can look really classsy and expensive.  The dress I modeled today has been compared to Chanel and Ralph Loren creations.

Checked out the monster supermarkets collection this evening when I had a little bit of time to spare.  A black shift similar to a Victoria Beckham was on show, there were some cute harem pants in varying prints and some fab maxi t-shirt dresses - that would look fab with massive bag and equally massive belt.  There were also some military style jackets that would look great with skinny jeans and knee high boots for winter.

Tesco buyers I applaud them.  On the other hand the collections in some other stores are woeful.  Sainsbury’s clothes are a continual dissappointment.  I often check out the rails and rails of clothes when I visit - so open - so thinking there must be something here that I might like?  No, No, No.  Not even the basic collections are worth considering.  Checked out the M&S offering this morning on the way back from meetings. Again - massivly dissappointing.  Maybe attractive to a mums who trust the opinions of their mums and grandmothers to tell them what looks “lovely”, but definitely not for turning heads.  You definitely know something isn’t working when the models, yes - even Mylene Klass can’t inspire you.
