Fashion at it’s best is timeless and simple - my style - that and a few signature giants to create an interest. In my case - time poor in the mornings to get out and into work, simplicity is key. The dress is an absolute saviour and today it was the navy shirt, killer heals, lots of gloss and a flick to the hair. Despite a nippy morning that was kept at bay with my fail safe “Spanish” coat which continues to attract much attention the day soon warmed up and my dress was comfortable and looked good all day. Not bad for £10 purchase from Tesco. Much that I hate buying clothes with apples and oranges, Tesco does feature some great pieces, low cost and when worn well can look really classsy and expensive. The dress I modeled today has been compared to Chanel and Ralph Loren creations.
Checked out the monster supermarkets collection this evening when I had a little bit of time to spare. A black shift similar to a Victoria Beckham was on show, there were some cute harem pants in varying prints and some fab maxi t-shirt dresses - that would look fab with massive bag and equally massive belt. There were also some military style jackets that would look great with skinny jeans and knee high boots for winter.
Tesco buyers I applaud them. On the other hand the collections in some other stores are woeful. Sainsbury’s clothes are a continual dissappointment. I often check out the rails and rails of clothes when I visit - so open - so thinking there must be something here that I might like? No, No, No. Not even the basic collections are worth considering. Checked out the M&S offering this morning on the way back from meetings. Again - massivly dissappointing. Maybe attractive to a mums who trust the opinions of their mums and grandmothers to tell them what looks “lovely”, but definitely not for turning heads. You definitely know something isn’t working when the models, yes - even Mylene Klass can’t inspire you.

If you are seeking a ring which will spark a conversationk, stimulate conversation as well as adding to the mystic of your image look no further than this beautiful creation. Was totally bowelled over by this stunning ring which will dress any hand with glamour, sophistication and complete artistry. The description will have you besotted - close your eyes and think of this as a combination - 18ct yellow gold with satin finish, black onyx and best of all PINK rubies. Being a ring lover -this one is a must have for me but I am also in love with the entire collection. While the ring is a delicate yet in your face the other pieces are fragile and unobtrusive - not really me but if someone chooses to buy me the entire collection I’ll not no. Annouska Jewellery is my new passion - totally stunning and beautiful respect for amazing stones and the possibilities.

We all live in hope and the will to support those closest to us. Sunday 27 June 2010 was the crucial game for England to shine in the World Cup 2010 against old rivals (in more ways than one) Germany. We all were looking forward to a brilliant game, many I’m sure felt that it would be a Germany victory but absolutely nail biting game.
With National Anthems that are tuneful and patriotic on both sides, I did feel that rather too many members of the England squad failed to sing the words of allegiance to our monarch. The stadium was filled to capacity a major percentage routing England fans. The BBC pre match comentary coverage was focussed on the potential of a penalty shootout.
The match started and what happened in front of 20 million viewers eyes did not resemble a team committed to winning at all. There was no team gelling, no energy. A goal which was achieved by a header, not intricate footwork made winning seem possible, 58secs later a shot from Frank Lampard which was a goal was disallowed. One would have thought this would have created the desire and determination to ensure that one would be delivered that would be kicked right through the back of the net. However after 1/2 time the team that emerged from the England camp was even more lathargic. To many opportunities made available for the Germans which they capitalised on. Twitter was almost hiving with updates. Pundits were trying to hold back on what they were really thinking. 3, 4 the Germans kept firing them in.
What do we do from here. We sack Capella. Get a British manager in that has the hunger. Pick a team based on working together.
I’ m not an expert on football but that’s my thoughts. & Beckham yes you look fantastic - but you are not just a mascott - you were there to motivate, inspire and put the fear of god into those players to make it happen.
Good luck Germany you deserved to win.
Sports wise for the UK - good luck to Andy Murray!! And well done to the England Cricket team & Graeme McDowell!!!

Today David Cameron will be calling President Obama to discuss among other things the BP oil disaster. The same day England will tackle the USA on their first game of the World Cup 2010. Let’s hope that our new leader will forge a healthy relationship with Obama despite the President’s quite unbelievably crass and childish approach to the disaster.
I think that DC and BO will get on with each other extremely well. Their values are similar, they are relatively young and I think that they will shine a light on this depressing world. I’m worried about all this talk of recession.

what an absolutely amazing gig at the 02 in Dublin. The little Stevie Wonder that has inspired generations to love good music showed not weakening of his genius. Sometimes I feel that Stevie has been ignored by the great and the good over the years. Now people at last are remembering his absolutely fabulous tunes, writings, his devotion to man and how important that we all stop fighting and hating. The warm balmy night in my adorable Dublin had me as always legging it into the 02 arena after a flighty car journey from Belfast.
Having just checked into the Brook Hotel in Upper George Street, the happy levels had already accelerated when a lovely bubbly receptionist informed me that my room had been upgraded to a suite YEA!!.
Stevie was on his keyboard organ on arrival. The rotund figure a speckle on the stage. Bit by bit i nudged my way up to the front. Everyone was in a fabulous feel good mood, booming smiles came in my direction from all the loved up ones in the audience. A giant in the audience caused some smiles - especially when he located himself right in front of me.
As I looked around at those guys in their seats above the standing area I could see all were fully off their seats and rocking to the man giant of the night Stevie!!
Leaving the arena was as much fun as inside. The beautiful full moon lit River Liffey was a wonderful side friend accompanying truly happy revellers - singing their versions of Wonder hits. At the same time the cars leaving the arena were loud with Stevie Wonder creations, one girl ended up dancing with a car towards the city centre.
A couple of glasses of wine and a desire for some good late night dinning led us to discover a fantastic Indian! What a night In the City!!
Sign Sealed & Delivered - way before Glastonbury!! Dublin’s been blessed!!

Thought I’d stop off at St George’s for some gorgeous dulse and ended up having some fabulous conversations with the gregarious and passionate traders. The place was buzzing with atmosphere of happy happy people, buying and tucking into some of the best artisan produce in the country. The music filled the air and one couldn’t help but feel a littel bit special walking through. I picked up a handmade fab bracelet, the lady selling had an impressive stall of creations made from other people left over jewellery and trinkets. She even created a neclace from a left over belt. I then bumped into Lesley former Nicks Warehouse waitress who is now working for CoCoture - an amazing new chocy food outlet on Chichester Street. Lesley let me taste the champagn truffle - yum and then sweetly gave me a free hot chocolate. Then it was off to the Merchant Hotel for some Afternoon Tea before heading back to the house for some more research.
The sky today was so beautiful and Napoleons nose a delight to the eye!;)

Discovered that Red or Dead http://www.schuh.co.uk/womens-black-and-white-red-or-dead-vixen-zebra/1164197220/ have a pretty awesome shoe on offer - they look fantastic.
In the fabulous Merchant Hotel and in the company (not directly) with the talented Brian Lynch and a couple of delectable babes. Our own Jimmy Nesbit looking rather thin and I have to say brilliant (like a teenager) comes over to shake Brian’s hand - respect so apparent. A wonderful moment to see two brilliant talents bantering together. Belfast definitely has style and excitment.
